Events Director

Location – Localhost Arena, Philadelphia/Denver

Summary:

N3rd Street Gamers provides opportunity for gamers to gain experience in competitive esports competitions, and they also are home to a community of like minded amateur competitors. The Events Director will be responsible for leading our team of Event Managers in the successful execution of Localhost and NCS events.

Essential Job Functions:

    • Ability to see the “big picture” and meet objectives in all stages of event planning, design, and production.
    • Drive our events strategy. Proactively address all client/customer issues..
    • Lead a team of 3-4 Event Managers in executing the most successful amateur esports tournaments in the industry.
    • Management of all project elements within time limits and on budget.
    • Exceptional communication skills to liaise with clients, identify their needs, and ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Able to conduct market research and gather information.
    • Negotiating contracts.
    • Providing clear, well-written periodic reports to stakeholders.
    • Able to articulately propose ideas to improve services and event quality.
    • Commitment to compliance with all insurance, legal, health, and safety obligations.
    • People skills needed to staff events and coordinate their activities.
    • Enthusiasm regarding collaborative work with marketing and PR departments to promote and publicize events.
    • Proactive approach to handling issues and troubleshooting any emerging problems on the event day.
    • Follow-through and willingness to conduct pre-and post-event evaluations, reporting on the outcomes.

Qualifications:

Administrative Assistant

Location: NSG Headquarters – Philadelphia, PA 

Summary:

Responsible for providing operational and administrative support to the CEO and N3rd Street Gamers HQ office as needed.  Participate in a variety of responsible and complex administrative, secretarial and clerical duties; and to provide information and assistance to the public regarding NSG services, policies and procedures.

Essential Job Functions:

    • Receive and prioritize work requests from the CEO; resolve deadline priorities.
  • Provide administrative support to the entire senior leadership team at N3rd Street Gamers up to and including: meeting scheduling, answering phones/email correspondence, drafting internal memos, and other duties as assigned.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities related to clerical and secretarial activities; assist in planning, organizing, evaluating and participating in the functions of the assigned department.
  • Assist in resolving work problems and interpret administrative policies and technical procedures, other departments and the public; resolve difficult clerical and secretarial problems.
  • Participate in a variety of duties relating to administration of a department; assist in preparing comprehensive reports, recommend improvements in work flow, procedures and use of equipment and forms related to the secretarial, clerical support.
  • Screen office and telephone callers; respond to complaints and requests for information on regulations, procedures, systems and precedents relating to responsibilities assigned; receive and route mail.

Marketing Manager

Location: NSG Headquarters – Philadelphia, PA 

Summary:

The Marketing Manager is responsible for managing all account within NSG, and consumer-facing properties of the company.

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to develop and manage marketing programs in specific channels, support business objectives, foster customer retention, execute business development, and advance brand building.

Essential Job Functions:

    • Build marketing programs to support specific marketing objectives across different channels and segments in support of our overall strategic marketing plan
    • Market through various channels and segment databases working with large data sets
    • Develop business cases for marketing programs at the proposal stage and make recommendations on marketing tactics
    • Manage event promotion and targeting across social media accounts and retargeting ads
    • Evaluate the impact of marketing programs in achieving their stated objectives, including impact on lead flow, LTV and retention
    • Propose and manage marketing research projects to generate consumer insights in support of improved marketing strategy and communications
    • Partner with creative teams, other internal stakeholders, and external agencies and vendors
    • Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, driving collaboration with the stakeholders and leveraging the right internal processes

Software Engineer

Summary:

N3rd Street Gamers provides opportunity for gamers to gain experience in competitive esports competitions, and they also are home to a community of like minded amateur competitors. NSG is a fast growing esports startup geared towards creating opportunities for all gamers to engage with their community, improve their gameplay, and compete on their path to pro. Our team plans and executes esports events at our Localhost Arenas in Philadelphia and Denver as well as at our partner locations around the country. NSG activates gamers, streamers, and talent in our National Championship Series and creates experiences worth remembering.

Lobby.gg was developed by N3rd Street Gamers with the intent to streamline the registration and ticketing process for esports events. Our platform helps Tournament Operators create, develop, and market their events to increase attendance and manage registrations. As we grow the platform with new features and more users, our team must grow, too. The Software Engineer will contribute toward Lobby.gg, building our platform’s foundation, creating innovative user experiences, and scaling existing offerings alongside developing new functionality.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Contribute daily to development of our core product from design to implementation.
  • Work with other team members to build a strong platform that can scale with our rapid user and feature growth.
  • Actively contribute to code reviews, audits, planning sessions, and working groups.
  • Help improve internal practices and implement industry standards.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of leading technologies across the application stack, from front-end to back-end.
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations to support the uptime of the application.
